• Formulate a holiday timetable to instill a disciplined approach to self-study and revision. This allows the student to prioritize and achieve objectives through smart time management.
• Focus on weaker subjects as reflected in the recent SA1 results by dedicating more time towards them during the holidays to bring them up to mark.
• Arrange for the tuition teacher to come in twice or thrice a week to encourage continuous learning and improvement during the school holidays, where students can often lose touch and grow idle.
• For students sitting for major examinations this year (PSLE, O & A levels), it can be extremely beneficial to engage a MOE school teacher as they can better assess and equip your child with the necessary exam skills as a result of teaching experience in schools.
